Honoring Our Veterans

I wonder if a lot of older veterans love telling "sea stories" because while they serve they have to be pretty quiet about a lot of things for safety. We experience various things as a family and some things are pretty amazing, but only those we love, trust, and get to talk to in person get to hear some of it. That can make for interesting communication.

Some time ago, I was doing research to send photos to some people speaking at an event just because I happened to take a couple of decent shots. In doing that research, I found out that Tim was in several news channels' video footage numerous times. It was so surprising for us to see, but we can't share it for security reasons.  The above screenshots are from the footage.

We see it as a privilege to thank and honor our veterans and their families for their sacrifice for our country. People have come up to us and thanked us for bringing our children along to events or honoring them as a family. Some have even painfully paid the ultimate sacrifice.

Though these words do not suffice, we want to say, "Thank you!"
